Knowledge Risk Scorecard

What valuable knowledge could leave with one person?

The customer history your account manager remembers. The pricing judgment your estimator has built over years. The explanation for a decision only you can give.

Consider what the business would struggle to recover if that person were unavailable.

The Knowledge Risk Scorecard helps you identify where knowledge is held, whether others can use it, and what deserves attention first.

Look across the business

Who knows what others would need to know?

Work through the functions that apply to your business, then consider knowledge that falls between departments.

A written record can help. The assessment also asks whether another qualified person has actually used that knowledge and whether it reflects current conditions.

You can identify what you know directly, what you are assuming, and whose perspective would help you check it.

Quick answers

Questions this page helps answer

What does the Knowledge Risk Scorecard examine?

It asks about valuable knowledge across the business: who holds it, whether another qualified person can use it, and what needs checking. It covers customer relationships, pricing, troubleshooting, decision history, and other knowledge that may never appear in a procedure.

What will I receive?

You receive findings based on your answers, areas to verify, and next steps to consider. You can download your response and print the results. Your current answers and completion results are also emailed to you and Lucensys. A fuller advisory review can be prepared separately.

How is it different from Owner Dependency?

Owner Dependency looks at how much the business relies on its owner. Knowledge Risk looks at valuable knowledge held by the owner or any other key person. You can use either assessment on its own.

The findings reflect your answers. They are a starting point for review, not an appraisal or a prediction of business value.

Your contact details, answers, and results are used for assessment and advisory follow-up. Completion copies go to you and Lucensys through our email service. Completing the assessment does not subscribe you to marketing. Read our privacy policy.
