Lucensys Privacy Policy
Effective Date: April 10, 2026
Last Revised: October 23, 2026
Overview
Lucensys LLC operates Lucensys.io and its associated tools and diagnostics. This Privacy Policy describes how Lucensys collects, uses, and protects information provided through the website, assessments, calculators, and advisory services.
Information Lucensys Collects
Lucensys may collect information you voluntarily submit, including contact information, business information, assessment responses, calculator inputs, booking details, and communications with Lucensys.
Lucensys may also collect information generated through site or tool use, such as technical logs, page activity, device and browser information, and diagnostic or calculator results created from the information you provide.
How Information Is Used
Information may be used to provide website content, operate assessments and calculators, prepare advisory follow-up, respond to inquiries, improve Lucensys tools and services, maintain records, protect the site, and comply with legal obligations.
Checklist Requests and Optional Emails
When you request a checklist, Lucensys saves your name, email address, the resource requested, the request date, and your choice about follow-up emails. Requesting the checklist does not require subscribing to those emails. You can ask to stop follow-up emails by contacting steve@lucensys.io.
We use Resend to email the requested checklist. Resend receives your email address and the message and attachment needed to fulfill that request. We keep a delivery record to track sending attempts and prevent duplicates. This requested email is separate from optional marketing emails.
To limit automated submissions, the form uses a temporary coded identifier derived from your network address. The form does not store the raw address in its request records.
Tools and Assessments
Lucensys tools are intended to help owners understand business value, owner dependence, transferability, execution, and related advisory questions. Tool outputs are informational and may be used to guide a follow-up conversation or advisory review.
Sharing and Service Providers
The Knowledge Risk Scorecard and Room to Grow Explorer run on Vercel and store submitted responses, completion results, and saved draft revisions in Supabase. When you complete either tool, Resend receives your email address and your current answers and results to send a copy to you and a separate copy to Lucensys at steve@lucensys.io. These copies can contain business-sensitive information. Delivery records help prevent duplicate messages. Completion does not subscribe you to marketing.
For the Room to Grow Explorer, Lucensys may send your reported answers and relevant questionnaire context to OpenAI to prepare an opportunity-brief draft and check it against those answers. The contact email and direct name fields are excluded from the AI request, but free-text answers may still contain identifying or sensitive business information. Drafts and review notes are stored privately in Supabase. Resend delivers the draft and separate internal notes only to Steve for review. The fuller brief is not automatically emailed to the respondent; Steve decides what to share after review.
A downloaded resume file can contain answers and a private key for a saved draft. Anyone who has that key may be able to retrieve the draft; keep the file private. Sharing the assessment page itself does not share your answers. The scorecard uses a coded identifier derived from your network address to limit automated requests; it does not store the raw address in its assessment rate-limit records.
Lucensys may use service providers to host the website, operate forms and tools, manage communications, analyze site activity, store submissions, and support advisory workflows. Lucensys does not sell personal information.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics loads only after you choose Allow analytics. It uses cookies to measure pages visited, referring websites, browser and device information, and site interactions. Google advertising signals and ad personalization are disabled in our tag configuration.
We use a shared Analytics property for TheSteveDuke.com, Lucensys.io and ZoomWithTheDuke.com to understand visits across these sites. Where you allow analytics on the sites you visit, links between them may carry a temporary measurement identifier. Each site stores your consent choice separately. This does not give us access to answers you enter inside a separate assessment or scheduling service.
Choose No thanks to browse without Google Analytics. Use Analytics preferences at the bottom of the page to change your choice. Your preference is stored in this browser for up to 180 days. Withdrawing permission stops Analytics on this site and removes its Analytics cookies; it does not erase data already sent. To change your choice on another site, use that site's Analytics preferences. Learn more about Google's privacy practices.
Security and Retention
Lucensys uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards for information it handles. No website or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Information is retained as needed for the purposes described in this policy, for legitimate business records, and as required by law.
Your Choices
You may choose not to provide information through a tool or form. You may also contact Lucensys to ask about information you have provided, request correction, or request deletion where applicable.

For privacy questions, contact Lucensys through the current business contact channel or booking route published on this site.
